Recreating Their First Date: Niko and Aira's Pre-Wedding Shoot

On a sunny Sunday, we had the pleasure of capturing the love and excitement of Niko and Aira's pre-wedding shoot in Auckland. The perfect setting for this special day was Ponsonby’s charming Bodega cafe, where the couple's love story began. As they shared their story with us, it was clear that this cafe held a special place in their hearts, and we couldn't resist the opportunity to recreate their first date.

Over coffee and pastry, Niko and Aira reminisced about their journey together, laughing and chatting like they were on their first date all over again. The cafe's romantic vibe provided an intimate backdrop for their photos, and my friend Andric captured the magic on video, while I focused on snapping the perfect shots. The way they interacted with each other, playfully teasing and gazing into each other's eyes, was truly captivating.

As we wrapped up our time at Bodega, we headed to the Auckland Domain for the next part of our adventure. Their friends had set up a romantic picnic for them, complete with a beautifully arranged spread of food and drinks, and Niko even brought out his guitar to serenade Aira. The way he strummed the strings and sang to her, with the sun shining down on them, was a truly unforgettable moment. The photos we captured during this time were filled with love, laughter, and a sense of joy that's hard to put into words.
